First Time Chiang Mai

I'm just going to come out and say it. I love this city. Old City in particular, with it's maze of streets and crazy graffiti and food markets and night markets and laid back chaos. There are a ridiculous number of temples here (I saw one up close) and coffee shops and massage joints and food carts. It's fantastic.

I originally arrived planning to stay for five days, but I wound up staying almost three weeks. I picked Kikie's House at random from Hostel World (mostly the name reminded me of Kikie's Delivery Service). It turned out to be a great place full of a rotating cast of good people from all over the place.

I met a lot of people here.
